Enneagram and Internal Family System (IFS)

- FREE ONLINE EVENT -

Have you ever found yourself saying “a part of me feels like …” or “a part of me wants …” or “a part of me believes” …. Well, in the language of Internal Family Systems, that statement is more true than you might think. According to the Internal Family Systems model, in addition to our self, we all have multiple sub-personalities, or parts, that both arise from trauma and stress and provide a number of services to keep things running smoothly. In this session, we’ll explore the basics of the Internal Family System model and make connections between how these parts manifest themselves and our enneagram types. Come and explore new ways to get to know yourself and better understand and appreciate others.

This session will explore using the Enneagram in the context of the Internal Family System, IFS. Internal Family Systems is a powerfully transformative, evidence-based model of psychotherapy. The mind is naturally multiple and that is a good thing. Our inner parts contain valuable qualities and our core Self knows how to heal, allowing us to become integrated and whole. In IFS all parts are welcome.

IFS is a movement. A new, empowering paradigm for understanding and harmonizing the mind and, thereby, larger human systems. One that can help people heal and help the world become a more compassionate place.

Scot Kleinman will lead us in a fascinating exploration of IFS.
