Online Session Facilitated by Roger Morimoto.
The Enneagram was “introduced” to the West by George Ivanovich Gurdjieff (1877-1949), a Russian spiritual seeker, who discovered the principles of the Enneagram in his travels in Central Asia. Gurdjieff taught that most humans do not possess a unified consciousness and thus live their lives in a state of hypnotic "waking sleep", but that it is possible to awaken to a higher state of consciousness and achieve full human potential. Gurdjieff did not teach the Enneagram as a personality system but in his teachings, the central principles of the Enneagram emerge.
Roger will seek to share a simplistic overview of Gurdjieff’s teaching of “Being” and how it relates to our modern interpretation of the Enneagram. Roger is very excited to share these insights with you.
