ANW: “The Story of George Van Tassel (1910-1978) and The Integratron”

Technology, mystery, conspiracy, and other-worldliness make the story of George Van Tassel and the Integratron a perfect study for our next “Ancient New Way” session!  We will learn about George Van Tassel, an aircraft mechanic and friend of Howard Hughes, in a 70-minute film, “Calling All Earthlings” (2018).

You do not want to miss this film!

In the early 2000s, three sisters bought the Integratron and restored it for use as a place for sound bath sessions.  The Spiritual Life Foundation is planning a trip in late October to the Integratron for a sound bath session, a “Dark Sky” viewing, and possibly a “CE5” gathering. If you are interested in this trip, please contact Roger at rvm878@gmail.com.

The Integratron – Fusion of Art, Science, and Magic

From the website Integratron.com

The Integratron, circa 1954, is located in Landers, California, 20 miles north of Joshua Tree National Park. Its creator, George Van Tassel (1910-1978), claimed that the structure is based on the design of Moses’ Tabernacle, the writings of Nikola Tesla, and telepathic directions from extraterrestrials. This one-of-a-kind, 38-foot high, 55-foot diameter, all-wood dome was designed to be an electrostatic generator for the purpose of rejuvenation and time travel.

The location of the Integratron is an essential part of its functioning. It was built on an intersection of powerful geomagnetic forces that, when focused by the unique geometry of the building, concentrate and amplify the earth’s magnetic field. Magnetometers read a significant spike in the earth’s magnetic field in the center of the Integratron.

The Integratron is privately owned by three sisters who have been part of the restoration and maintenance of the structure and property for more than 30 years. Their focus is to restore and preserve the structure while sharing its amazing acoustical properties with the world via the Integratron Sound Bath.

This unique structure was listed in 2019 on the National Register of Historic Places by the National Park Service.

“Calling All Earthlings” (2018) — Synopsis

A 1950's Howard Hughes employee-confidante, George Van Tassel, uses alleged alien guidance and Nikola Tesla's ideas to build a time machine --The Integratron. Is he deluded or could it actually work? As waves of devotees join him in the California desert, the FBI gets involved fearing insurrection and possibly more. Nearing completion, Van Tassel's tale and the Integratron meet an unexpected end: the "workings" of the dome finally emerge. The unusual story is told by historians, astronomers and current residents of Joshua Tree, including the stewards of the Integratron, the Karl Sisters, and a galaxy of believers and skeptics alike.
