Gatherings of Community
Ideally, spiritual exploration begins with a sense of wonder and curiosity. It is rooted in experiences and encouragement. Our “Gathering of Community” events are intended to be a safe space, “a playground”, where we can explore, share, and encourage non-traditional forms of spiritual expression.
Our first “Gathering of Community” was held in August of 2023 and featured Brynn Saito (poet) and Adam Moskowitz (meditation leader.) They led us in storytelling and meditative reflection exercises, helping us deepen our inner spirit. After lunch, the community gathered around tables for tarot card readings and discussion on PUSH therapy, Rrest therapy, and other healing modalities.
Our second gathering was held in January of 2024, featuring Tammy Langowski, psychic intuitive. Tammy shared her story of becoming a psychic, talked about pet communication, and shared her experience with an E.T. After lunch, the community gathered for more tarot readings and sharing.

Spiritual Life Foundation - Gathering of Community August 24, 2024 - 10 pm to 2 pm
Featured Speaker: Elaine Chan-Scherer
Channeler, Artist, and Therapist
Our guest speaker will be Elaine Chan-Scherer, a therapist, social worker, artist and channeler. She will be sharing her story, and will share a channeling session for the group. You will not want to miss this experience!
From her therapist website: "Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I’ll meet you there.” This poem by Rumi captures the experience of being in the safe, non-judgmental space that we will create in order to explore who you really are. Each one of us is born with an inner wisdom to guide us in making healthy choices about our lives. Our connection to this internal compass gets protected and hidden as we grow up in our imperfect world.
About her artistic side, from Weebly Website: Elaine Chan-Scherer is a native San Francisco artist and psychotherapist. She studied art with Shiloh Sophia McCloud, Cassandra Light, Barbara Kaufman, Deborah Hoch and Jinn Fauvre.
Together with an international group of women, through study and connection with the Divine Feminine and the use of Shiloh Sophia McCloud's Color of Woman Method of Intentional Creativity, Elaine learned how to paint. An essential part of her process has been having the frequent support and feedback of her family and friends. Her paintings have been shown in places of worship, at sacred gatherings, and in dance and performance art pieces. Elaine's wish is for her paintings to inspire you to experience your own connection with the Sacred Feminine.
